‘Irish Examiner’ reporters make NewsBrands Ireland Journalism Awards shortlist

Irish Examiner reporters have been shortlisted for a host of accolades in this year’s NewsBrands Ireland Journalism Awards. 

Michael Clifford has received two nominations in the categories of Broadsheet Columnist of the Year and Scoop of the Year, while health correspondent Catherine Shanahan is in the running for News Analysis of the year.

The Irish Examiner political team has been nominated for Political Journalist of the Year while Political Editor Daniel McConnell has a nomination in the Political Story of the Year category.
