Witness who fled stabbing scene in Dublin sought by gardaí

Gardaí investigating a fatal stabbing of a young man have appealed to a person seen running from the crime scene to contact them.

The deceased, named locally as Leo Carolan, 25, was found with knife wounds inside his flat on South Circular Rd, Portobello, in Dublin’s south inner city around 3.30pm on Tuesday.

An Irishman, he had spent some of his life in France, where his parents live.
