Film documents Henry Ford’s Irish roots

A Foróige club in West Cork has produced a 45-minute film about the Irish origins of car tycoon Henry Ford.

Teenagers from Ballinascarthy Foróige Club have related the story of the Ford family’s emigration from the local parish to the US.

The film is to have its first screening on October 15, at 8pm, in Ballinascarthy Hall.
