Cork's Páirc Uí Chaoimh set to host major concerts

The revamped Páirc Uí Chaoimh GAA stadium in Cork is on course to host a major concert next July. 

And unlike the debacle over Garth Brooks’ cancelled Croke Park gigs in 2014, promoters bringing acts to Cork’s flagship stadium will not have to apply for planning.

Country legend Garth Brooks cancelled all five of his summer 2014 concerts in GAA headquarters after Dublin City Council granted planning permission for three only.
