Ex-Labour Court chair Finbarr Flood passes away

Finbarr Flood, former chair of the Labour Court, has died aged 77.

Mr Flood was also former managing director of Guinness, having begun his career with the drinks giant as a 14-year-old messenger boy.

When Mr Flood retired from Guinness in 1994, he was appointed deputy, and later chairman, of the Labour Court.
