Housing action plan: Key delivery dates for housing plan objectives

Under the Rebuilding Ireland housing and homeless plan the Government aims to be building 25,000 new homes every year by 2020.

In relation to social housing, the Government plans to have 47,000 new social housing units on stream by 2021.

A major goal is to remove the reliance on hotels and B&Bs for emergency accommodation, currently being used to house homeless people.
