Gardaí fear attempted gun murder resurrects local feud

Gardaí fear the attempted murder of a man in the early hours of yesterday has resurrected a feud that previously claimed the life of a youth and the near killing of an unarmed garda.

Yesterday’s victim was found on Monasterboice Road in Crumlin, south Dublin at around 4am.

He was shot at several times and suffered gunshot wounds to his abdomen.
