North football body thanks Green Army for tribute

Republic of Ireland fans have been thanked for paying tribute to a Northern Ireland fan who died after a fall in France.

The Green Army sang ‘Stand Up for the Ulstermen’ after 24 minutes of the game against Sweden.

In a tweet, the North’s footballing body said: “Thanks to the fans of FAI Ireland who sang ‘Stand Up for the Ulstermen’ tonight in memory of Darren Rodgers #footballfamily.”
