Inquiry into death of pregnant woman at Holles St

An investigation has been launched following after a pregnant woman died last month at Dublin’s Holles Street Hospital whilst undergoing emergency surgeryat Holles Street Hospital in Dublin last month.

Malak Kuzbary Thawley, 34, was pregnant with her first child when she died at the hospital on May 8.

Ms Thawley, who was from Syria, and her husband Alan, who is from the US, had been living and working in Ireland for the past three years.
