Finian McGrath: Cabinet is not an easy place for me to be

Super Junior Minister Finian McGrath has said Government is “not an easy place for me to be” referring to escalating tensions in Cabinet between Fine Gael and Independent ministers.

Mr McGrath confirmed yesterday the serious scale of the friction between Independent and Fine Gael members of Cabinet three weeks into Government.

Ministers meet tomorrow morning for the fourth time and relations between the sides are so rocky as to lead people to think the Government will fall before Christmas.
