Gardaí appeal to mother of baby girl whose body was found in Wicklow recycling plant

Gardai have appealed to the mother of a newborn baby girl whose body was found in a recycling centre to come forward amid concerns for her health.

Her infant’s remains were discovered by workers at the Greenstar recycling facility at Fassaroe on the outskirts of Bray, Co Wicklow at 11am yesterday.

It was not immediately clear whether the child’s body had been left in a household bin or a commercial container before being brought to the centre.
