Fáilte Ireland: Don’t get complacent on prices

Tourism is booming, no doubt helped by St Patrick’s Day and the 1916 centenary celebrations.

Fáilte Ireland bosses have warned that tourism operators can’t get carried away and start hiking prices and being complacent about standards.

“It is vitally important that everyone in tourism keeps a firm grip on those things we can control, particularly competitiveness and our value for money,” said Fáilte Ireland chief executive Shaun Quinn.
