Secretaries go to town on event that has raised €400k

Since its inception 35 years ago, an event run by Cork Lions Club has raised more than €400,000 for various worthy causes.

And this year’s beneficiary of the annual ‘Secs in the City’ fundraiser is one which has a long history of providing food for those down on their luck.

Cork Penny Dinners is the charity of choice for secretaries’ day out, which will take place on Friday, April 22, at the Clarion Hotel.
