That’s just what five west Cork schoolboys did with their miniature, air-powered Formula One racing car capable of travelling more than 110km an hour.

They used 3-D software to design the colourful carbon-dioxide-powered lean machine, and spent months tweaking the complex blueprint before having it carefully built to their specifications at the University of Limerick.
