Murdered taxi driver Martin Mulligan, aged 53, died from stab wounds to his abdomen and thigh, including one to his aorta, the inquest into his death heard yesterday.

The popular taxi driver and coal man, from Waterview, Lower Point Rd, Dundalk, Co Louth, died on September 28, 2015.

His body was found on the roadway at Carnmore, Dundalk, close to his taxi.
