Fianna Fáil promises to make public transport more affordable

The election promises include an annual tax credit amounting to €200, if commuters use their cars on toll routes during off-peak periods.

The party said this would redistribute around 30,000 cars from peak traffic periods. The toll saver could benefit 57,000 daily commuters at an annual cost of €7m for the exchequer.
