LATEST... Finance Minister Michael Noonan has been called on to explain a €900m “black hole” in his economic forecasts for the lifetime of the next Government.

LATEST... A former Fianna Fáil TD says he would be open to the idea of a "national stability" coalition government. Sean Haughey, son of former Taoiseach Charles Haughey, is running in Dublin North Central in the general election.

LATEST... The Tánaiste Joan Burton says "no seat is safe" in the upcoming general election. The Labour Party are continuing their pitch to the people with their plans for economic and social progress should they be re-elected.

It is being reported that dissident republicans have claimed the shooting at the Regency Hotel in Dublin on Friday.
