Wedding bells rang in the new year for two of the GAA’s fiercest sporting rivals — both Seán Óg Ó hAilpín and Paul Galvin will be tackling 2016 as married men.

One of the finest hurlers Cork has ever seen, Seán Óg weds long-time love Siobhán Quirke today while former Kerry rival Paul got hitched to Today FM DJ Louise Duffy yesterday.

Seán Óg, who has been seeing Siobhán for the last 16 years, popped the question on a romantic trip to New York last year.
