Pfizer help secure future of Raffeen golf club in Shanbally

The future of a golf club and sports facility in Shanbally has been secured by the intervention of pharmaceutical giant, Pfizer.

The five-year arrangement between Pfizer Ireland and Raffeen Creek Golf Club means the facility will now be run autonomously by the management and committee of the club, with the participation of the other historical stakeholder, Raffeen Creek Pitch and Putt Club.
