Global plan for aviation future in European Commission strategy
The no-holds barred plan sees airline companies bought and sold around the world with the abolition of the rule that EU companies must have a controlling interest.
This would allow some of the world’s fastest expanding airlines like those in the Gulf states to buy majority shares in European-registered airlines, and vice versa.
