TD Sean Conlan charged over alleged glass assault

A former Fine-Gael TD was yesterday charged with the alleged use of a glass during a pub assault last summer in Co Monaghan.

Sean Conlan was remanded on bail of €100 to appear at a district court in Carrickmacross on January 27.

He was charged in relation to an alleged incident at his family-owned licensed premises in Ballybay on August 23 last.
