Noreen Finnamore: UK award for business woman ‘embedded in Cork’

A businesswoman with Irish connections has been honoured with a prestigious award nomination in the UK.

Noreen Finnamore’s work as an importer of premium food products, including Irish produce, has been recognised by the judges of the 2015 Everywoman Awards, who have shortlisted her for the Demeter Award for the most inspirational woman running a business which has been trading for three to six years.

“I was really honoured to be nominated and amazed to be a finalist,” said Ms Finnamore. “A few hundred people are nominated for each award, so to make the final three is great.”
