The exuberant ‘Butterfly Child’ production is a musical collaboration between schoolboys in Clonakilty and children from the Samburu tribe in Kenya.

The Samburu, also known as The Butterfly People because of their colourful robes, jewellery and headgear, were the inspiration for the melody, which will be launched this coming weekend during the annual switching-on of the Christmas Lights in Clonakilty.
