Fresh plea for man ‘Disappeared’ 40 years ago

The anguished family of a teenager kidnapped and killed by the IRA yesterday have made a fresh appeal for information on the eve of the 40th anniversary of his disappearance.

Columba McVeigh, from Dungannon, Co Tyrone, was among 16 murder victims who became known as the “Disappeared”.

Despite extensive searches, the body of the 19-year-old was never found.
