Two men killed in separate tragic accidents

A teenager and a man in his 30s have died in separate incidents in Cork.

A 19-year-man from Ballincollig was killed yesterday morning in a workplace incident in the Palfab pallet factory in Lissarda near Macroom.

The man, named locally as Olan Kierse from Ballincollig, is understood to have been working in the yard of the plant at around 11am, loading steel girders, when one of the girders fell and fatally injured him.
