Neighbours at a house, where it is alleged a Brazilian man was beaten and held captive before being murdered at a remote bog in north Kerry, have told a trial they were woken up by noise coming from next door.

Catherine Costello said that she was woken after 11pm on the night of February 16, 2012, by the sound of children crying and car doors being opened and closed.
