Payne turns to joy for 1D fans as gig back on

There were no Midnight Memories for One Direction fans left reeling after the worldâs biggest boy band cancelled their first sold-out gig in Belfast as part of their On The Road Again Tour.
Fans were left heartbroken after the band was forced to cancel the first of their three performances at the SSE Arena in Belfast on Tuesday night after the support act had played.
However disappointed fans will still get a chance to see the fab four in action tomorrow night instead.
In a statement issued yesterday on behalf of Aiken Promotions fans were told that last nightâs and tonightâs concerts would be going ahead as scheduled with Tuesdayâs concert being rescheduled for tomorrow.
âOnce again we apologise for the cancellation of last nightâs One Direction show. We thank everyone for their understanding and their good wishes to Liam,â the statement read.
The announcement also advised fans on how to get a refund if they cannot attend the rescheduled gig.
âAll tickets from last nightâs postponed concert will be valid for Friday.
âFor anyone not able to attend the rescheduled show on Friday, please contact point of purchase for detail of how to obtain a refund.â
I'm so sorry to everybody I disappointed last night. I'm feeling better now. I really hope everyone can make the rescheduled date on Friday.

One Directionâs new show tomorrow will take the place of an ice hockey match between Belfast Giants and Sheffield Steelers, which has been cancelled and will be rescheduled for a later date.
General manager of the SSE Arena Neil Walker said they were âextremely gratefulâ to the Belfast Giants and Sheffield teams.
âWe are very grateful to them for their understanding and accommodation of the nearly 10,000 young concert fans who were so devastated by the cancellation. We are looking forward to three great nights of concerts at The SSE Arena, Belfast.â
As I said I'm feeling much better now and I really can't wait to perform and make it up to everyone later
