Jobs fair to discuss how to halt medical ‘brain drain’

A conference to examine how best to stop our medical brain drain is to be held in Dublin next week.

The inaugural Irish Medical Careers Fair will take place on October 20 and 21 and will host more than 30 healthcare organisations who are looking to recruit up to 300 doctors of all grades.

The conference at the Clyde Court Hotel in Ballsbridge will hear from medical experts on topics around medical manpower management, including recruitment and retention of NCHDs, medical education, independent private practice, and GP manpower issues.
