Kind act just the ticket for lucky rugby supporter
Well, that’s exactly what happened to one unlucky Irish rugby fan before the vital clash with France last Sunday.
Ian Browne must have been kicking himself when he realised he had lost his tickets in the fan zone, but, thankfully, there were a few kind souls happy to help out.
John Cullinan and his girlfriend, Rachel Kelly, from Limerick, were shocked when they stumbled across the three tickets on the ground.
John told the Irish Examiner that, after they realised there was no official lost-and-found in the fan zone, Rachel had the great idea of using one of the DHL signs to alert Ian and his family that they had found his precious tickets.

When John and Rachel returned to the spot where they had found the tickets, they were greeted by a delighted Ian, who had been searching for the tickets with his wife and brother.
Ian, from Ireland but living in London, had travelled up to Cardiff for the game.
“He was delighted with us,” John said. “He made sure we were well repaid with a few pints before the match.”
Since returning from the game, John said he has got a phone call from DHL, who are trying to sort him out with tickets for the quarter-final.
John’s good turn certainly deserves another!
