Gardaí await autopsy results on body of Brazilian man

Gardaí are awaiting autopsy results on the body of man in his 50s who was found in a blood-splattered apartment in North Cork.

The body of the Brazilian was discovered shortly after 3pm yesterday at Emmet St, Fermoy.

He was pronounced dead at the scene and the Office of the State Pathologist was notified. Gardaí sealed off the area for technical and forensic examination.
