€210k for Blackrock Castle and Titanic Experience

Two of Cork’s most popular attractions —  courtesy of Fáilte Ireland’s ‘New ideas in Ancient Spaces’ Capital Grants Scheme.

The grants are for tourist attractions within Ireland’s Ancient East tourism initiative which was established last April to build on the historical and cultural assets in the east and south of the country.

According to Fáilte Ireland, the initiative “seeks to give visitors a personal experience of 5,000 years of Irish history through a journey of discovery stretching from Carlingford to Cork”.
