Teen in fall from roof of Kinsale nightclub

A Cork teenager is recovering in hospital after falling from the roof of a nightclub in Kinsale at the weekend.

Ciara O’Brien, who had only received her Leaving Certificate results from Kinsale Community College two weeks ago, was attending a party at The Moorings nightclub when the accident happened.

It is understood the 18-year-old was on the roof in a restricted area in the early hours of Saturday when she fell three storeys and sustained spinal injuries.
