The family of the late Jason Corbett, who have been locked in a custody battle for his children in America, hope to be able to bring them back to Ireland by next Saturday, sources close to the family have said.

The inquest into the deaths of three brothers in Charleville last September has returned an open verdict. Earlier, it heard that the twin boys died after being stabbed over 40 times each and their older brother died by suicide.

IRA Shankill bomber Sean Kelly is being questioned by police after a man was shot dead in the North. Kelly killed nine people when he blew up a fishmongers in 1993. He was released from prison under the Good Friday Agreement.
