A former dance teacher, who made up a false allegation that he was groped by Louis Walsh, has been accused of raiding a bank account.

Leonard Watters, aged 28, went to a man’s Dublin home for a “social visit” before stealing his wallet and using his ATM card to take €590, a judge heard yesterday.

Mr Watters, with an address at Woodview, Navan, Co Meath, was remanded on bail after he appeared at Dublin District Court charged with three counts of theft.
