Former Connacht rugby star Muliaina charged with sexual assault in Wales

South Wales Police have confirmed that former Connacht and All Black full-back Mils Muliaina has been formally charged with sexual assault.

The 100-cap All Black was arrested last April in relation to an incident which is alleged to have happened after Connacht’s Pro12 defeat away to Cardiff on March 6.

It is alleged that the assault took place in a crowded bar in the Brewery Quarter of Cardiff City centre.
