Taoiseach Enda Kenny has expressed his “sadness and horror” at the murders of three Irish tourists who were killed during last week’s terrorist attack on a holiday resort in Tunisia.

A minute’s silence was held in the Dáil yesterday, after condolences and messages of sympathy were expressed on all sides of the house for the victims.

Mr Kenny said he had spoken with British prime minister David Cameron, who had agreed that officials from both countries would co-operate on the ground in Tunisia in the wake of the mass killings, which also included the murder of 30 British citizens.
