Taoiseach Enda Kenny has refused calls to name and shame the seven banks found to be in breach of the rules for dealing with people in mortgage arrears, writes Shaun Connolly.

Fianna Fáil’s Seán Ó Fearghaíl insisted the Taosiseach should let customers know now who the offenders are.

The call follows revelations that a Central Bank probe has identified seven lenders who are continuing to harass struggling householders even after they have cut a deal with them.
