Keane and O’Neill involved in M50 crash
It is understood the vehicle in which Keane and O’Neill were travelling, accompanied by Ireland coaches Steve Guppy, Steve Walford and Seamus McDonagh, was rear-ended by another vehicle while in traffic.
While no serious injuries are thought to have occurred, the four men were being looked over by a medical professional last night.
It is understood this was merely a “precaution” however, and all four passengers are said to be in good health.
The collision took place on the M50 between Junction Five at Finglas and Junction Six at Blanchardstown shortly after 6pm.
The incident resulted in minor traffic delays.
Gardaí attended the scene and tailbacks were cleared within the hour.
The Football Association of Ireland confirmed the incident on Twitter.
“The ROI mgmt team were involved in collision on M50 earlier,” they wrote.
“Vehicle was rear ended in traffic. Have rtn’d to hotel & been seen by team doc.”
