Crash victim had just moved house

The Limerick woman who along with her young daughter died in a road crash in Poland on Wednesday, had just moved into a new family home in Norway with her helicopter pilot husband and their two children.

Yvonne Long, aged 30, from Curraghchase, Kilcornan, was killed along with her daughter, Ella, aged two, when another car ploughed into them as the family travelled to Krakow airport in Poland, on their way from home from a wedding.

Yvonne’s husband, Soren Buchtrup and their other child, Noah, aged seven months, received minor injuries.
