An Irish family-run chain has opened what is believed to be the country’s first drive-thru pharmacy and lifestyle store.

Country’s first drive-thru pharmacy opens in Waterford

The 3,000 sq ft store opened yesterday at Ardkeen in Waterford. Operated by the Mulligan’s group, customers will be able to phone or text in their prescription before picking up their medication at a drive-thru kiosk.

The technology is aimed at reducing waiting times and giving customers greater flexibility.
