Karen Buckley murder accused due in court today

The man accused of murdering Cork nurse Karen Buckley is due to appear in court in Scotland again today.

Alexander Pacteau, aged 21, will make his second appearance before Glasgow sheriff’s court. He is charged with murdering the occupational therapy student, 24, and with attempting to defeat the ends of justice. The hearing is likely to take place later this afternoon, and the proceedings will not be open to the public or the media.
