Keane: My dogs knew if I had won or lost

Few will raise an eyebrow to hear that Roy Keane’s dogs knew how a match had gone by his body language — it speaks volumes at the best of times.

Speaking at the launch of Irish Guide Dogs for the Blind’s new national campaign, Guide Dog Day, which takes place on May 1, Keano talked about how intuitive his dogs can be, particularly on match days.

“My dogs could tell what the result was by the way I came home. They could tell from my body language,” said Keane.
