VIDEO: Karen Buckley’s family and friends gather at Mass of Hope in hometown

Hundreds of people gathered at a church in Mourneabbey last night for a Mass of Hope for missing student Karen Buckley as word filtered through that police in Scotland had detained a man for questioning in relation to her disappearance.

Friends, relatives, neighbours, and members of the tight-knit rural community began arriving at the Church of St Michael The Archangel in Analeentha from 7pm yesterday, shortly after police in Glasgow detained a 21-year-old man in connection with the investigation.
