The family of a toddler were yesterday continuing to pray for a miracle as she battled critical injuries in hospital.

Annalise McDonagh was knocked down in the driveway of her grandparents’ home near Tuam, Co Galway, on Monday and was airlifted to Temple Street Children’s Hospital in Dublin for specialist, life-saving treatment.

Annalise, aged 16 months, remains in the hospital’s intensive care unit with her parents, Edward and Bernadette, by her side.
