In today’s Irish Examiner, Eoin English reported that a car ban was being considered for Cork City’s St Patrick’s Street under radical traffic plans due to be published tomorrow.

The car ban, if it came into place, would extend to all private cars with just buses, taxis, emergency vehicles and cyclists being allowed to use St Patrick's Street between the hours of 12.30 to 6pm, seven days a week.
