Enda Kenny is on track to win a second term as Taoiseach, as dissent dies down in the Coalition parties, according to former Fine Gael strategist Frank Flannery.

However, a return to power for Fine Gael and Labour can only be achieved by offering voters a society based on fairness and equality, claimed Fine Gael’s former director of elections.

His comments come as Fine Gael sources told the Irish Examiner that all its general election candidates will be decided and ready to go to the doorsteps by September.
