Two arrested after €5,000 worth of heroin found

Gardaí in Cork have arrested two people and seized around €5,000 worth of heroin after searches on the city’s northside.

Both raids were mounted in recent days as part of ongoing garda efforts to disrupt criminals and dismantle their drugs networks.

The news emerged last night after claims that drug paraphernalia was found stashed at a bus shelter on Harbour View Road on the city’s northside over the weekend.
