Pair charged over firearm

Two Dublin brothers were last night charged in relation to the seizure of a firearm and a reported shooting in rural Co Meath over the weekend.

The 31-year-old will appear in court this morning, while his 19-year-old brother will appear at a later date.

Ballistic experts are carrying out tests on a pistol recovered at the scene, while a technical examination is also being conducted in the area.
