Woman used shoe in ‘night cat-fight’

A 21-year-old Tralee woman, who was involved in a “late-night cat-fight”, had used her shoe like a retracted claw, Tralee District Court was told yesterday.

The case against Channel Wattan, 135 Shanakill, Tralee, Co Kerry, who was charged with assault causing harm, was before the court for review.

She had previously pleaded guilty to assaulting Barbara Sokolwski, on July 29, 2012, at Urban Terrace in Tralee.
