The trial of actor David Murray, accused of assaulting a woman in Dublin, has been delayed after he mixed up his court date.

Dublin District Court previously heard the Guarantee star will “strongly” contest the allegation and he was due to go on trial yesterday. However, when the case was called, defence solicitor Matthew De Courcy told Judge Ann Ryan that his client was not present.

The lawyer explained Mr Murray thought the trial was be heard today. He could not come to the court house yesterday because he had an appointment in Cork.
